There is a National Quadrennial Assembly every 4 years.

One was scheduled for June 2020 in Atlanta, but was cancelled due to to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The replacement was scheduled for October 5 - 7, 2021 via Zoom. The theme was: "Resilient through the Storms, Renewed by Grace."
The next National Quadrennial Assembly was held June 19-23, 2024 at Doubletree by Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook, 1909 Spring Rd., Oak Brook, IL.
Plans are underway for the next Quadrennial Assembly in 2028.

National provides Devotionals and Bible Studies as resources. In fact, National has greatly increased its on-line resources. Please visit: https://www.churchwomenunited.net

REGIONAL:
National is divided into 8 regions: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, East Central, Central, South Central, Southwest, and Northwest.
Ohio belongs to the East Central Region, which includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

The outgoing regional coordinator for the East Central Region was Norma Borgmann. The current regional coordinator for the East Central Region is Barb McCoy ([email protected]), as of July 1, 2023.

Regional meetings are held every fourth year - just two years before / after the national quadrennial.
The last Regional meeting was held October 20 - 21, 2022 in Indianapolis. The next regional meeting will be in 2026.

STATE:
CWUO (Church Women United in Ohio) is currently in the process of building its new website. Please visit the state's website at: https://www.churchwomenunitedinohio.org/

CWUO's president is Bennie J. Williams-Roper.
The vice-president is Jody Stevens.
Our Dayton member, Pam Hamby Walker, serves as state secretary.
Our Dayton member, Cecelia Long, is the Area C director.

The 99th Annual State Assembly was held in Columbus in April 2025.
The next state meeting (100th) will be held in April 2025.

AREA:
The state is divided into 4 active areas: Area A, Area B, Area C, and Area D.

NOTE: Area B is now comprised of the earlier areas B and E.

Dayton belongs to Area C, which is in the southwest quadrant of the state.

The last area meeting was in the fall of 2020.

LOCAL UNIT:
Ohio has many local units; our Dayton unit is happy to have about 225 members in the greater Dayton area.
